Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a planning professional to manage weekly MPS, balance demand and supply, and own or support IBP activities across the site. You will drive schedules, optimize capacity, and oversee inventory targets while coordinating with programs and procurement.

You will monitor KPIs like Master Schedule Adherence and Days Inventory Outstanding, support continuous improvement, ensure data integrity, and coordinate with suppliers to expedite orders and optimize the vending program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain or 3+ years equivalent experience.
• Must meet ITAR/EAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate Scheduling (MPS) activities beyond the current week time horizon and for the whole MPS horizon.
• Create and maintain schedules to deliver in line with Program’s requirements while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing site capacity.
• Schedule production for specified products and production lines understanding all the physical and manning constraints.
• Ensure MPS is feasible and balanced against resources; includes phase-in/out, localization, and transfer plans; aligns with calendar and planned downtime.
• Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process.
• Proactively communicate/escalate to management potential MPS issues to mitigate supply risk.
