Job summary

Disc Medicine in Watertown, MA, is seeking a Senior Director, Medical Affairs Strategy to lead medical strategy for the MPN portfolio, including DISC-0974 and DISC-3405, and guide scientific engagement, publications, and evidence generation.

The role partners with cross-functional teams, supports investigator engagement and real-world evidence programs, and ensures regulatory and ethical standards while managing a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (MD/DO/PhD/PharmD).
• Minimum 10–12 years of Medical Affairs or related pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience leading hematology KOLs and scientific exchange.
• Proven ability to develop and execute medical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Medical Affairs strategy for the MPN portfolio.
• Lead KOL engagement and advisory board activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to refresh medical education and communications.
• Drive evidence generation initiatives including RWE/HEOR.
• Support investigator engagement and clinical trial activities.
• Represent MPN Medical Affairs on cross-functional programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and PRC/MRC processes.
