Job summary

Disc Medicine is seeking a high-performing Market Insights professional to support our first commercial launch and future indications. Based in Boston, MA, this role reports to the VP of Commercial Operations and offers a hybrid work model with flexibility to work remotely.

You will lead market research planning, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to drive data-driven commercial decisions across our hematologic portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of biopharma commercial operations experience.
• Excellent project management ability.
• Superior Excel modeling ability, and high level of PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to communicate data via clear visuals.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, diligence and reliability.
• High empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Market Insights & Analytics: Develop market research plans for bitopertin and pipeline assets; including studies, data acquisitions, and advanced analytics.
• Provide periodic updates to Commercial and Medical teams on research and analytics projects.
• Analyze and synthesize primary research, secondary data, competitive intelligence, and market inputs into actionable implications.
• Track signals affecting commercialization, including clinical readouts, regulatory milestones, and market dynamics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to understand research needs, timings and budgets; manage data acquisition.
• Lead research study execution including contracting, design, analysis, and delivery of presentations.
• Marketing Analytics: Develop marketing effectiveness measures; ensure vendor data supports KPIs; help track performance with IT.
