Job summary

Hartford HealthCare seeks a Data Integrity Coordinator to ensure the Master Patient Index remains accurate across the health system. You will resolve urgent MPI duplicate/overlay errors and coordinate with departments to support patient care and safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring MPI data, validating corrections, and reporting to management. You will work with EPIC technical support and help design enterprise EMPI tools and training materials.

Qualifications

• Experience with Master Patient Index (MPI) and chart corrections in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC or equivalent EMR systems.
• Strong communication with multiple departments and partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise MPI accuracy across the health system.
• Investigate and resolve duplicate records and patient overlays.
• Communicate outcomes and provide reports to leadership on request.
• Collaborate with departments to merge and validate data across systems.
• Engage with Epic support for complex chart corrections.
• Contribute to EMPI tooling and training material development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
