Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree from a recognized college or university is required.
• In lieu of a degree, six (6) years of relevant Revenue Cycle experience will be accepted.
• 5 years of related Revenue Cycle experience including HIM experience is required.
• 3 years of leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage work in the Health Information Management department.
• Ensure proper release of information and vital records.
• Maintain the Master Patient Index (MPI) and the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI).
• Synchronize data within all systems as it relates to the EMPI and legal EMR.

Overview: Provides oversight and management of work performed by the Health Information Management department including release of information, vital records, document imaging, record retention and retrieval, deficiency assignment, transcription services, chart correction, maintenance of the Master Patient Index (MPI) and the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) and synchronization of data within all systems as it relates to the EMPI and the legal Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Licenses and Certifications
