Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an MP&L Manager in Franklin, WI to lead material planning and logistics, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels. You will manage a team of analysts and planners, collaborating with procurement, production, and demand planning to align supply chain activities with business goals.

The role requires 5+ years in material planning/logistics, strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

5+ years in material planning, logistics, inventory management, supply chain, or operations management.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics operations.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel/data analysis.
Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or distribution ops preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage material planning, inventory control, logistics coordination, and material flow operations to support production and customer demand
Lead and develop MP&L personnel, including analysts, planners, and logistics staff, through coaching, training, and performance management
Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules, inventory targets, and operational requirements
Monitor and improve KPIs related to inventory accuracy, material availability, freight costs, and on-time delivery
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, logistics, and demand planning teams to ensure end-to-end supply chain alignment
Oversee inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess inventory, minimize shortages, and improve inventory turns
Identify and resolve operational issues related to material shortages, supply disruptions, logistics delays, or planning constraints
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, process efficiency, and supply chain performance
Maintain accurate data and reporting within ERP and planning systems to support operational decision-making
Support S&OP and integrated business planning processes
Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory control standards, and operational policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities related to MP&L operations
