TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Move Manager to lead moving crews and manage daily operations safely. You will collaborate with customers, vendors and staff to meet operating goals.

You will supervise dispatch, scheduling, and fleet maintenance, while promoting safety and the brand. The role requires organization, leadership, and a customer-service mindset; on-call duties apply after hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily and coordinate scheduling.
• Lead by example in communication, performance, attendance and work ethic.
• Interview, hire and train new employees or assist with these processes.
• Dispatch duties, audits during moves, vehicle inspections and paperwork audits.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and inventory; ensure trucks are clean and safe.
• Promote safety procedures and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Review performance data to measure productivity and identify cost reductions.
• Assist with customer concerns and damage resolution processes.
• Be an on-call emergency contact outside normal business hours.

What We Offer

• Base pay: $22 - $24 per hour
• 4 day work week

What You'll Do

• Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments
• Lead by example in communication, performance, attitude, attendance, and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation
• Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees, or assist with these processes
• Complete various dispatch duties, including: performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits
• Assist with coordinating and directing fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
• Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
• Assist with customer concerns and damage resolution processes as necessary
• Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours
