• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees.
• Complete dispatch duties, audits for safety and customer satisfaction, and paperwork.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and inventory; keep trucks clean and safe.
• Enforce safety procedures and DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Develop, accountability, and corrective action for staff.
• Review financials and performance data to identify cost improvements.
• Assist with customer concerns and damage resolution.
• Serve as on-call emergency contact outside normal business hours.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK - Billings, MT

The Move Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance, crew development, and damage prevention. This role focuses on coaching, accountability, and hands-on leadership. This is a field-based role with occasional office work required.

Starting pay: $22 - $26 per hour depending on experience.

Candidates are expected to have reliable transportation to/from work. Must be willing to authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screen, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is a drug-free work place.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments
• Lead by example in communication, performance, attitude, attendance, and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation
• Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees, or assist with these processes
• Complete various dispatch duties, including: performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits
• Assist with coordinating and directing fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
• Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
• Assist with customer concerns and damage resolution processes as necessary
• Responsible for being an "on-call" emergency contact outside of normal business hours
