Job summary

AMLI Residential is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare apartment homes for new residents at AMLI West Plano. The role emphasizes drywall repair, patching, texturing, and wall preparation for painting, with additional duties in basic plumbing and electrical as needed.

The candidate will work on on-site maintenance, perform routine repairs, assist with property upkeep, and participate in rotating on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Drywall repair experience with patching, texture matching and wall preparation for painting.
• Experience in apartment maintenance or make-ready work is preferred.
• Ability to handle on-call rotations and weekend/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall repairs, patching, texture matching, and wall preparation for apartment turns.
• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready repairs before move-ins.
• Paint, touch-ups, caulking, and interior finish work.
