Job summary

Barge Properties Management in Longview, TX is seeking a Make Ready/Maint. Staff to promptly address resident maintenance requests and prepare units for occupancy. This full-time role supports safety, inventory management, and preventative maintenance to keep properties in top condition.

Ideal candidates will have maintenance experience in multi-family housing, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. CMMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as in maintenance, preferably in a multi-family housing setting.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering.
• Assist in a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize future issues.
• Assist with unit turns, ensuring apartments are move-in ready on schedule.
