Job summary

Barge Properties seeks a dependable Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance and ensure apartments stay safe, functional, and move-in ready at Huntington Hills, Longview, TX. You will perform hands-on repairs and coordinate preventative maintenance, aligning with property standards and resident expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance, plus leadership and communication skills to keep

Qualifications

HVAC certification with at least 1 year experience.
Ability to operate on-site and handle move-outs.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance operations and support the upkeep of the property.
Perform preventive and routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and structures.
Diagnose and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
On-site lead for trash outs and move-ready units.
Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and document actions.
Maintain safety compliance and update maintenance logs and work orders.
