Job summary

Responsibilities include basic maintenance (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical), fixtures replacement, and proper tool inventory. Strong communication with staff and residents is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment make-ready or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment make-ready turns before resident move-ins.
• Perform basic maintenance repairs including: Painting; Drywall repair; Light plumbing; Minor electrical work; Appliance checks; Door and lock repairs.
• Replace fixtures, blinds, and hardware when needed.
• Ensure apartments are clean and meet company standards.
• Walk units with management to identify needed repairs.
• Remove trash and debris from vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist maintenance team with additional property needs when required.
