Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Make Ready technician in Orlando to restore vacant apartments to market-ready condition and support general maintenance of interiors and exteriors. You will perform repairs, replacements and upkeep, ensuring timely turnover and a high level of resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have general maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and high school/ GED. You will work Monday-Friday with potential overtime, using hand tools and following safety standards

Qualifications

• General maintenance and safety experience required.
• Basic computer skills to perform job functions.
• High School or GED required; hands-on tool use essential.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant units to market-ready status promptly.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and upkeep of exterior grounds and common areas.
• Identify hazards and report to management.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and document compliance.
• Maintain and secure property-issued tools; assist with notices as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
