Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Roving Neighborhood Services Technician in Orlando, FL to prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, installations, and inspections under the Total Quality Make Ready program.

You will perform intermediate maintenance tasks, assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups, travel within a 25-mile radius, and provide on-call maintenance support to uphold resident satisfaction and property standards.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred.
• Prior make-ready, maintenance or related field experience.
• Venterra certification of intermediate plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple unit turns efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintaining company standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including on-call rotations.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Lifting/carrying requirements: over 75 lbs rarely, 25-75 lbs occasionally, 1-25 lbs constant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by repairs, cleaning, and ensuring features are in working order per TQMR.
• Perform intermediate maintenance tasks, including light fixture replacements, minor plumbing, appliance checks, HVAC PM and drywall patching.
• Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to meet market-ready standards.
• Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and support the maintenance team with work orders and groundskeeping.
• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, parking lots, breezeways, amenities, and common areas.
• Work independently while following company standards, with attention to resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties as needed to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
• Travel daily to assigned communities within the region, typically within a 25-mile radius.
