Responsibilities

• Sets up household survey mechanisms; sends out confirmation letter and moving packet; sets up any required third party services.
• Provides information to customers and other employees regarding the status of moving orders.
• Handles ongoing services such as storage, unpacking services through final destination letter.
• Operate a computer terminal to input and change data using the ACT software package.
• Acknowledges new orders in a timely manner.
• Responds to accounts with confirmation of availability within 2 hours to a day.
• Reviews shipment particulars (origin/destination, weight, date requests, mileage) to determine feasibility.
• Receives, accepts, and distributes national account moves.
• Communicates with Beltmann corporate clients, Beltmann planners, Beltmann agents and North American Van Lines agents.
