Direct Recruiters seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Capital Equipment, based in Colorado. This field-based role concentrates on growing the Mountain West territory by selling CNC machinery, machine tools and fabrication equipment to manufacturing customers.

You will build new business, manage key accounts, coordinate demonstrations, and present ROI-driven solutions. Frequent travel across Colorado and the broader Mountain West is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field sales or territory management experience.
• Background selling capital equipment, CNC machinery, or manufacturing technology.
• Proven ability to generate new opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads.
• Experience in long, consultative sales cycles and building ROI cases.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business throughout the Mountain West territory.
• Conduct in-person visits with manufacturing customers.
• Grow existing accounts via equipment replacement and upgrades.
• Sell capital equipment based on productivity, ROI.
• Coordinate demonstrations, testing, and technical resources.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting to proposal and close.
• Maintain pipeline, forecast, and customer activity in Salesforce.
• Develop travel and account strategy for Colorado and beyond.
