Job summary

Main Street Auto is seeking a General Tire & Lube Technician to keep customer vehicles safe and running smoothly. You will join a professional, goal-oriented team that values accuracy, safety, and strong customer service while delivering essential maintenance services.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and competitive pay, with weekly earnings in the $600–$1,000 range. The position emphasizes ongoing training and career growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as Tire & Lube Technician preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and time-management.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, installations, repairs, and balancing
• Complete oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Assist with wheel alignments and verify proper handling and tire wear
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and time spent
• Provide friendly, helpful service when assisting customers with tire or maintenance questions
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
