Main Street Auto in Ohio is seeking a General Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. You will perform tire rotations, oil changes and basic inspections to help keep vehicles safe and customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous tire & lube technician experience preferred.
• Proficient in tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.
