Job summary

Main Street Auto in Crestview, FL is seeking a skilled General Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. You will perform tire rotations, installations, oil changes, and inspections, while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety and teamwork, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training in a busy automotive center. 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous tire and lube technician experience preferred.
• Proficient in tire installation, repair techniques and oil changes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.
