Job summary

Main Street Auto in Tennessee is seeking a General Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. You will perform tire rotations, oil changes, and inspections to keep vehicles safe and road-ready.

We offer 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, with weekly pay of $600–$800 and a comprehensive benefits package. Emissions certification is required and strong teamwork is valued.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostics.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency

• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance

• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns

• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability

• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task

• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service

• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience as a tire and lube technician or similar role preferred

• Proficient knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
