Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 in Park City, UT. Seasonal roles include safety attendants and guest-facing positions with paid hourly wages and perks like free passes and discounts. Join a global mountain resort team offering training, development, and wellness benefits.

From day one, you’ll engage with guests on the mountain, promote safety, and deliver excellent service in outdoor alpine environments. Flexible full/part-time schedules and housing may be available.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for guest service and safety communications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in alpine conditions.
• Experience or ability to ski/snowboard at least at an intermediate level.
• Willingness to work a winter seasonal schedule with varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort policies with guests and employees.
• Provide strong guest service to internal and external guests.
• Maintain mountain safety materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The mountain safety attendant works as our on‑hill representation of safety and guest service. Promote safety within our amazing sport by providing quality feedback and communication to our guests. Enjoy the outdoors and be the friendly face of the resort on the mountain.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr – $23.00/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Requirements

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment
• Intermediate or above ability to ski or ride, at minimum of Level 7

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr – $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
