Job summary

Giants Ridge is seeking a Retail Manager for its gift shop operation. The role oversees daily retail operations, staff, and merchandising to meet financial goals while delivering exceptional guest service at the resort in Minnesota.

The Manager will lead a team, drive promotions, and ensure safety and quality standards on-site. The position is salaried, with compensation around $52,500 per year, commensurate with experience, and requires 1–2 years of related management experience along with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's or Business Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of related management experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse people.
• Able to organize multiple priorities; work as a team leader; problem-solve.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and directs daily operations.
• Forecasts and analyzes sales, labor, and profit; ensure budget compliance.
• Recruits, supervises, trains, schedules, disciplines, reviews, and directs staff.
• Establishes and implements loss prevention procedures.
• Merchandises inventory to maximize sales; directs promotional strategies.
• Manages merchandise purchasing and inventory; places orders timely.
• Responds to customer inquiries and resolves complaints.
• Coordinates uniform purchases and employee helmet programs.
• Maintains safe facility environment including equipment, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
