Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Mountain Sport Shop Manager in Biwabik, MN to lead daily retail operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure outstanding guest service at Giants Ridge.

The role involves merchandising, inventory control, and implementing promotions to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related management experience, strong organization skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; Photoshop experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s or Business Degree preferred.
• At least 1–2 years of related management or leadership experience.
• Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
• Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities; effective team leadership and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and directs daily operations.
• Forecasts and analyzes sales, labor, and profit; ensures budget compliance.
• Recruits, trains, schedules, disciplines, reviews, and directs staff.
• Establishes and implements loss prevention procedures.
• Merchandises inventory and coordinates promotions; manages purchasing and inventory levels.
• Responds to customer inquiries and resolves complaints.
