Job summary

SGM INC is seeking a Civil Engineer III to join our Glenwood Springs, Colorado office. This full-time, in-office role requires regular attendance at one of our office locations and offers opportunities on land development, infrastructure, and municipal projects.

The candidate will work with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic modeling tools, and MS Office to deliver practical engineering solutions. A PE license and 5–10 years of experience are preferred, with potential for growth within a dynamic Rocky

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field is required or equivalent.
• PE Certification or ability to obtain in the first year of employment.
• Minimum 5–10 years of engineering work experience.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D required; CAD knowledge expansion encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to land development, infrastructure, grading, drainage, and utilities projects.
• Work on municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional site development in Colorado.
• Collaborate with governments, developers, architects, and property owners to solve engineering problems.
• Execute well-defined technical and engineering tasks with accuracy.
