Job summary

Cranmore Mountain Resort in New Hampshire is seeking a Base First Aid responder to provide first aid and guest assistance on the mountain. You will patrol trails, respond to emergencies, and support safety and rescue operations for guests and staff.

The role requires CPR/AED and relevant emergency medical credentials, with a focus on customer service and safety. Flexibility in hours and some job-sharing may be involved.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED required and Outdoor Emergency Care Technician (OEC) or National Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) or Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
• National Ski Patrol (NSP) Membership required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned mountain areas to ensure trails are marked and hazards identified.
• Provide general emergency, first aid and rescue training for personnel.
• Search for missing persons and equipment.
• Complete accident reports and assist in documentation of incidents.
• Maintain dispatch log of calls.
• Assist in maintaining tools and equipment used in rescue and trail maintenance.
• Stand by awaiting emergency calls and respond to guests courteously.
• Perform other tasks as assigned; flexible working hours may apply.
