Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group seeks an Inside Sales Engineer for Elk Grove Village, IL. The role combines engineering knowledge with technical customer support and inside sales, focusing on motors and motion-control products.

The candidate will respond to inquiries, assist with product sizing, and support existing accounts in a fully in-office setting, Monday–Friday, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience involving technical problem-solving, customer interaction, or related responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and product information to customers.
• In-office Elk Grove Village location requirement.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries and identify technical requirements.
• Recommend motors, actuators, drives, and related components.
• Develop and manage an assigned account portfolio via phone and email.
• Follow up on quotes and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Perform product sizing and selection after training, collaborate with engineers on complex applications.
• Provide technical product information and support customers during implementation.
• Qualify new accounts and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Support account development and customer relationship activities.
• Coordinate with outside sales as opportunities grow.
