Job summary

The Cole Family of Harley-Davidson Dealerships in Florence, SC seeks a General Merchandise Manager with energy and leadership to oversee the Harley-Davidson Motorclothes department. You will design displays, manage inventory, coordinate promotions, and drive guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining accurate inventory, optimizing store aesthetics, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless Harley-Davidson experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience with retail sales and inventory management.
• Prefer knowledge and experience with servicing of Harley-Davidson General Merchandise, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
• Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge & experience with computers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure General Merchandise personnel are well trained and available when needed.
• Design displays for merchandise using fixtures, wall displays, show cases, glass cubes & towers, mannequins.
• Regulate seasonal promotions and coordinate them with other departments.
• Review stock orders to ensure a fast moving balanced inventory and coordinate orders with P&A manager if possible.
• Maintain sufficient quantities of stock to support demand and acceptable inventory turn ratio.
• Assist staff when needed.
• Become familiar with the computer system for General Merchandise management and review Inventory reports.
• Supervise and maintain an up-to-date inventory management and control system.
• Ensure merchandise and displays are clean and appealing to customers.
• Set up and maintain a smooth running retail environment for General Merchandise.
• Purchase product assortments, gauge stock movement, and devise promotions when necessary.
• Establish departmental work schedule and sales quotas for General Merchandise personnel.
