Job summary

Harley-Davidson Florence is seeking a General Merchandise Manager/ Motorclothes Manager to lead our General Merchandise department. The role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented leader who can train staff, design compelling displays, and manage inventory and promotions to drive customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will oversee inventory control, merchandising strategy, and staffing while collaborating with the dealership management team.

Qualifications

• Experience with retail sales and inventory management.
• Preference for knowledge of Harley-Davidson General Merchandise servicing or ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with Point-of-Sale and related management software or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure General Merchandise personnel are trained and available when needed.
• Design displays for merchandise to attract customers (fixtures, wall displays, show cases, mannequins).
• Regulate seasonal promotions and coordinate with other departments.
• Review stock orders to maintain fast-moving inventory and balance stock.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and run reports using the computer system.
• Set up and maintain an efficient retail environment for the General Merchandise department.
• Establish work schedules and sales quotas for GM staff.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of employees.
• Weekend availability is required.
