Delaware Department of Transportation, Division of Motor Vehicles, seeks a Motor Vehicle Associate I to process driver and vehicle transactions, issue licenses/IDs, and provide excellent customer service at public-facing counters. The role may involve vehicle inspections and eligibility review under state rules.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred to assist a diverse clientele. On-the-job training is provided; successful candidates will handle sensitive information and ensure

Formación

• Six months experience in document processing.
• Six months experience in customer service.
• Six months experience in applying laws, rules, regulations.
• Six months experience in using an automated information system.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Process transactions issuing, renewing, suspending, and revoking credentials.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist with transactions.
• Identify exceptions and recommend policy-based solutions.
• Compute and reconcile DMV monies and fees.
• Explain laws, rules, and eligibility to the public.
• Review documents for validity and authenticity.
