Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a motivated Utility Operator to join our team in Pennsylvania. You will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor parts during disassembly and assembly, using a range of equipment and tools.

Collaboration with the winding department and strict safety practices are essential for quality repairs and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include operating steam cleaners, parts washers, sand-blaster, and other repair equipment, plus moving motors with forklifts or cranes

Qualifications

• Ability to strip and prep AC/DC motor parts for repair.
• Operate forklifts and crane equipment to move motors and parts.
• Follow defined procedures and safety protocols consistently.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively in repair processes.
• Understand and follow job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend for extended periods.
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts and components for repair.
• Operate cleaning equipment (steam cleaners, parts washers, sand-blasters).
• Handle specialized repair equipment (dip tanks, VPI systems, temp ovens).
• Move motors/parts using forklifts and cranes to aid in delivery or storage.
• Paint repaired motors prior to shipment to customers.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the assigned area.
