Integrated Power Services (IPS) is hiring an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our service center in Illinois. You will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor parts during disassembly and assembly stages, using a range of equipment.

The role emphasizes safety and hands-on work, with opportunities to work closely with winding, learn advanced repair processes, and grow within a leading electromechanical services provider.

Qualifications

• Experience performing stripping operations on AC/DC motor parts.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes).
• Ability to follow procedures and complete required forms.
• Proficient with hand tools and safe work practices.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts for repair.
• Operate cleaning equipment (steam cleaners, parts washers).
• Run repair equipment (dip tanks, VPI systems).
• Move motors/parts with material handling equipment.
• Paint repaired motors before shipping.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain area housekeeping.
