Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator to support motor repair processes. You will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor parts during disassembly and reassembly, using several specialized tools while closely coordinating with the winding department in a service center.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning gear, dip tanks, VPI systems, and burnout ovens, and handling motors with forklifts and cranes. Safety PPE is required, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strip and prepare AC/DC motor parts for repair and assembly.
• Operate material handling equipment to deliver or store motors and parts.
• Follow proper procedures and document work accurately.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Understand and retain job-related training and safety procedures.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean internal and external parts of motors and related components for repair.
• Operate cleaning equipment like steam cleaners and sand-blaster.
• Use dip tanks, VPI systems, and burnout ovens for repairs.
• Move motors and parts with forklifts and cranes.
• Paint repaired motors before shipment to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
