Job summary
Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking a Technical Support Specialist focused on Motion to join our Engineering Services team. You will provide high-level support and product expertise for Beckhoff drive technology, including AX-Servo-drive and TwinCAT motion software, assisting customers with complex motion applications.
You will diagnose motion control issues, deliver on-site visits and training, create demos and knowledge base articles, and collaborate with Beckhoff German HQ on escalations to
Qualifications
- Experience in motion control environments and understanding of drive technology.
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles and escalations.
- Ability to travel for on-site support and customer training.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support and product implementation leadership for hardware and software products.
- Coordinate with Beckhoff HQ for escalated issues related to AX, AM, AL products and TwinCAT Motion.
- Provide technical support via phone and on-site visits; communicate product functionality clearly.
- Act as a national project resource for drive technology projects: create customer code and configuration examples; deliver product demos.
- Diagnose and resolve customer motion control issues using troubleshooting tools.
- Deliver end-user training and maintain knowledge base articles and wiki content.
- Document all support activities using ticket-tracking tools.
