AMETEK, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support development, documentation, release, and maintenance of Kerk motion control products. You will coordinate prototype and NPI projects, maintain engineering drawings and docs, and act as a liaison with Manufacturing, Quality, and Applications teams.

A Bachelor’s in Engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience are required. The role involves ECO processing, documentation control in PDM/PLM systems, and collaboration across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of engineering, manufacturing, product development, or technical project support experience preferred.
• Experience supporting custom-engineered, engineered-to-order, or configure-to-order products preferred.
• Experience supporting low-to-medium volume manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD system.
• Experience with PLM/PDM and ERP/MRP systems, including ProductCenter and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate prototype, sample, and NPI projects from order receipt through shipment.
• Serve as a liaison between Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Applications Engineering to facilitate communication and feedback.
• Create, revise, and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, product configurations, and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform engineering activities to support ECOs, including documentation, implementation, and release.
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision-controlled records within PDM and related systems.
• Support manufacturing with troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and process/product improvements.
• Coordinate or perform inspections and validation activities on prototype products.
