Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in applications engineering or related fields.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical products and motor fundamentals.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and inputs.
• Experience supporting customers, sales, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for designated customers and territories.
• Understand application requirements, performance needs, operating conditions, timing, target price, and production expectations.
• Provide technical guidance on HKP motion-control products.
• Direct customers toward standard products or light customization.
• Evaluate opportunities for feasibility and alignment with capabilities.
• Translate customer needs into clear engineering requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Move opportunities into Engineering when ready and capacity allows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering on prioritization.
• Maintain customer-facing technical ownership during prototyping and production transitions.
