Job summary

FlatironDragados in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced MOT Superintendent to direct and oversee all MOT activities on the project. You will supervise MOT supervisors and crews, plan lane closures, and ensure TTCP compliance while managing labor, equipment, and safety.

This role requires 8+ years in heavy civil construction, 5+ years in traffic management, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• 5+ years of traffic management experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree a plus.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) activities within the assigned project segment.
• Supervise MOT supervisors, foremen, and field crews to ensure efficient execution of daily operations.
• Plan and coordinate MOT work activities, including lane closures, traffic shifts, and work-zone setups.
• Verify compliance with approved TTCPs, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Manage labor, equipment, materials, and other resources to support project needs and maintain productivity.
• Monitor daily production and ensure MOT activities stay on schedule with project milestones.
• Coordinate with project management, field operations, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve MOT issues.
• Coordinate with internal equipment team and external vendors to ensure equipment and material quantities meet budget and schedule.
• Forecast work schedules and provide technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate issues.
• Provide input to identify and resolve project risks including construction methods, work plans, safety, and schedules.
• Document daily activities and meeting notes using company-approved methods.
• Support safety and process controls regarding operating equipment and worksite safety; suggest training needs.
