Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking a dependable MOT Foreman to supervise and manage traffic during construction. The role involves installing and maintaining traffic control devices, coordinating with supervisors, and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

You will plan daily traffic control activities, manage equipment and personnel, and ensure adherence to Miss Utility regulations and project plans. Strong communication, judgement, and leadership are essential for this hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Must have DOT traffic control certification.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5 years of experience planning, organizing and supervising all equipment and materials needed to set-up, take down, maintain traffic control, and handle traffic-related situations is required, 2 years of experience at the lead level or an equivalent combination of closely related training and experience.
• Working knowledge of standards, specifications, codes, regulations and laws.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and must meet Branch Group Fleet Policy requirements and maintain "Approved Driver" status.
• Must have excellent communications skills
• Ability to use good judgement with the ability to be an effective decision maker
• Must have the ability to get job done with minimal supervision, on time, within budget or better.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain traffic control per project plans and safety devices.
• Preplans and schedules traffic control on a daily basis in coordination with Supervisors.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to set up, maintain, and take down traffic control.
• Ensure compliance with Miss Utility regulations and safety protocols.
• Prepare daily reports and ensure quality control and contract compliance.
• Lead safety discussions and support OSHA compliance at jobsites.
• Oversee small team and communicate effectively with Owner, Engineer, and crew.
