Job summary

Arrive Alive Traffic Control in the United States is seeking MOT/Barrier Wall Techs to maintain safe traffic flow in construction zones, set up lane closures, direct traffic, and follow FDOT standards. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, able to work in fast-paced sites, and communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation to the workplace.
• Strong work ethic, communication skills, and positive attitude.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform regular physical tasks, including extended standing, walking on construction sites, and frequently bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members.
• Set up and dismantle lane closures and other necessary traffic control equipment.
• Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades as required.
• Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized by properly disposing of debris and materials.
• Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
• Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
