Job summary

Arrive Alive Traffic Control, an AWP Safety company, is looking for MOT/Barrier Wall Techs to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow in construction zones. You will set up lane closures, direct traffic, and follow FDOT standards and customer specifications.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Competitive pay, paid training including ATSSA certification, and ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Flexible Schedule (nights, weekends, 10+ hour days).
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 lbs.
• Regular physical tasks on construction sites (standing, walking, bending).

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain lane closures and other traffic control equipment.
• Direct traffic around construction sites using flagging and signaling.
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized and dispose of debris properly.
• Complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
• Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
