Job summary

Arrive Alive Traffic Control LLC is hiring an MOT Technician to ensure safe traffic movement through construction zones, set up lane closures, and comply with FDOT standards and customer specs. The role requires clear communication, safety-minded approach, and the ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environments.

You will load and transport signs and barricades, direct traffic with flagging, perform routine equipment checks, and complete paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Strong work ethic, communication skills, and positive attitude.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform regular physical tasks, including extended standing, walking on construction sites, and frequently bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members.
• Set up and dismantle lane closures and other necessary traffic control equipment.
• Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades as required.
• Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized by properly disposing of debris and materials.
• Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
• Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
