Job summary

Arrive Alive Traffic Control, an AWP Safety company, seeks an MOT Technician to ensure safe traffic movement in construction zones in Florida. You will set up lane closures, direct traffic, and maintain equipment per FDOT standards and customer specs.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, clear communication, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Opportunities include ATSSA/MOT certifications and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform regular physical tasks on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members.
• Set up and dismantle lane closures and other traffic control equipment.
• Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades.
• Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized and dispose of debris properly.
• Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
• Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
