Job summary

Arrive Alive Traffic Control, an AWP Safety company, is hiring a MOT Technician to ensure safe traffic movement through construction zones. You will set up lane closures, direct traffic, and follow FDOT standards and customer specs.

We value safety, speed, and clear communication. This full-time, night/weekend capable role offers paid training including ATSSA certification and a path to professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends; flexible schedule.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members.
• Set up and dismantle lane closures and other traffic control equipment.
• Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades.
• Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized; dispose of debris properly.
• Complete all job-related paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
• Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
