• Minimum two years in the mortgage industry.
• Familiarity with Encompass software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the Manufactured Home Industry is a desirable asset.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze mortgage loan applications, credit reports, income docs, and appraisals to assess eligibility and risk.
• Evaluate borrowers' financial profiles to determine loan approval or denial.
• Ensure compliance with policies, TILA/RESPA, and investor guidelines throughout underwriting.
• Communicate lending decisions to Loan Officers, borrowers, and stakeholders with explanations for conditions.
• Collaborate with Loan Processors and Officers to resolve issues and facilitate closings.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of underwriting documentation and files.
• Provide exceptional customer service with status updates and guidance through underwriting.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to improve knowledge and skills.
