Job summary

A regional financial institution is seeking an experienced Underwriter to provide critical support for both retail and wholesale loan decisions and underwriting guidance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA underwriting, as well as FHA DE and VA SAR certifications. You will be responsible for reviewing appraisals, maintaining a pipeline of loans for approval, and ensuring compliance with guidelines. This is a full-time position based in Pearl, Mississippi.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in underwriting FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA loans.
• FHA DE certification and VA SAR certification.
• Documented experience in mortgage loan underwriting.

Responsibilities
