• Analyze real estate appraisals and title reports to determine collateral acceptability and investor guideline compliance.
• Document underwriting exceptions and clear conditions promptly for loan approval.
• Develop knowledge of mortgage lending products and investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA).
• Coordinate with Loan Originator and Loan Processor to obtain timely information and communicate decisions.
