Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Deal Manager to oversee the boarding and de-boarding of loans, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely transfers. You will coordinate with internal teams and external servicers to maintain data integrity and KPI performance.

You will run routine conference calls, manage data exchanges, and provide weekly transfer updates. Proficiency in Excel and SQL, plus strong project and relationship management, are essential to succeed in a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years mortgage servicing experience and 2+ years loan transfer experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and data analysis required.
• Strong project, multitasking and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization and meet KPIs.
• Coordinate loan transfer timelines with internal teams and external servicers.
• Host routine conference calls to review transfer docs and due dates.
• Manage transfer data exchanges and resolve data exceptions with mappings.
• Provide weekly transfer updates to portfolios and clients.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
