Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Deal Manager to oversee the onboarding and de-boarding of loans, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth transfer processes. This role coordinates tasks, communicates with servicers, and maintains KPI-driven performance to support timely transfers.

The ideal candidate will have mortgage servicing experience, strong data/analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and SQL. This is a full-time on-site position supporting our Texas operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years mortgage servicing experience required.
• 2+ years loan transfer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization and standards.
• Monitor and maintain KPIs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Goodbye/Welcome letters, Investor Change letter).
• Coordinate transfer timelines with internal and external parties.
• Host routine calls with servicers to review due dates and transfer documents.
• Manage transfer tasks using heatmaps and checklists.
• Share transfer data and schedule department calls to facilitate transfers.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries and updates to portfolios.
