Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Homeowner Advocacy Analyst - Servicing to support the Compliance team in handling borrower, investor, and regulator inquiries. The role focuses on analytical investigations, clear documentation, and cross-department collaboration to resolve issues efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a background in mortgage servicing policies, and the ability to prioritize assignments while maintaining accuracy and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications beneficial.
• 2–4 years in mortgage, business controls, compliance, or audit.
• Ability to interpret mortgage regulations and evaluate servicing documents.
• Experience researching mortgage accounts to identify and rectify errors.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Accurately present complex information in clear, borrower/investor/regulator communications.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of federal and state consumer protection laws and mortgage policies.
• Coordinate with QA Auditors to address findings and drive process improvements.
• Manage caseloads to meet deadlines and regulatory mandates.
• Support remediation activities and compliance reviews.
• Advise on updates to monitoring policies and testing procedures.
