U.S. Bank is seeking a Servicing Support Specialist for its Mortgage Default Servicing team. The role focuses on managing mortgage loan files with title-related issues, contested matters, probate cases, and other specialized servicing activities.

You will work with internal partners, Legal, and external counsel to research complex issues and ensure timely progression of servicing actions. The position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to balance

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in administrative support activities.
• Experience in mortgage servicing, mortgage default or related servicing operations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan files involving title defects, foreclosure, probate, and other servicing issues.
• Research file documentation to identify issues and determine resolution paths.
• Collaborate with internal Legal teams, business partners, and external counsel to obtain information.
• Evaluate recommendations from external counsel and determine next steps for file progression.
• Maintain accurate records within servicing systems and ensure timely milestones are met.
• Communicate file status and resolution strategies with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency within the team.
• Support a high-volume caseload in a collaborative environment.
