Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three-years experience in mortgage-related work
• Knowledge of mortgage loan products and features
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Some college coursework a plus
• Excellent member service, telephone, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• PC proficient, including MS Windows, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), and mortgage software
• The ability to lift 25lbs and utilize standard office equipment including, but not limited to, PC, fax, copier, telephone, etc.
• Travel may be required
• Ability to function in a financial institution environment

Responsibilities

• Process payments via mail or payroll deduction and related paperwork.
• Maintain loan escrow accounts and related transactions (ARM adjustments, PMI payments, insurance payments, taxes).
• Board newly funded loans and ensure accuracy in servicing system.
• Process certificates of satisfaction / lien release forms.
• Audit mortgage loan files for completeness and conformance to regulations and procedures.
• Package and send sold files to secondary market investors for review.
• Process Allonges for first/second trusts and track signatures.
• Perform month-end and year-end reporting.
• Assist managers and other staff with loan processing tasks as required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
